Operation Botak《一发千金》

Over half of Sabah's population is scattered amongst isolated rural areas. We hope to raise RM100,000 to help provide indigenous communities in the interiors of Tuaran and Kota Belud with the gift of education and literacy by equipping a mobile library and learning resource centre.
Thus, we're challenging our more fervent supporters to go bald for literacy:

Pledge to go bald and get friends/ family to show their support! Here's how:

Email the following to tan_shu_yi@wvi.orgThis email address is being protected from spam bots, you need Javascript enabled to view it : Full name (as per IC), age, contact number, email address, occupation, why you decided to go bald, the amount you hope to raise and a recent photograph.

We'll feature you in the Operation Botak Facebook Photo Album and update the amount you've raised on a weekly basis.

Place these banners on your blog/ Facebook to drum up support. Once your friends have decided to support you going bald, please get them to download this form and give directly to World Vision.

Shave your head on 28 March 2010 at The Curve, Mutiara Damansara from 2 - 4pm or send us a video of you getting your head shaved at home!

The Operation Botak challenge is open only to those who are 18 years old and above. Please ensure that you obtain consent from your parents/other concerned parties before making the pledge. The closing date for signing up is 12 March 2010.

沙巴有超过一半的人口分散在偏僻农村。透过《一发千金》(Operation Botak) 筹款活动，我们希望能筹得RM100,000，并为斗亚兰(Tuaran) 和哥打毛律(Kota Belud) 的原住民孩子，提供一个流动图书馆和学习资源中心。因此，我们热烈邀请您前来挑战自己，剃头为贫童教育筹款。

我们将会把您照片上载到世界宣明会的facebook上的《一发千金》相簿中，以及在每个星期更新您所筹得的款项。


· 将上述《一发千金》筹款广告上载至您的facebook或部落格以支持我们的活动。


· 请将随函附上的捐款表格，分发给身边的人筹款。


· 我们将在2010年3月28日进行集体剃头活动在The Curve从2-4pm，但是您也可以在家剃

此活动只公开给已满18岁或以上的各界人士。我们建议您在参与此活动前，与您身边的人商洽您的剃头决定。报名截止日期是2010年3月12日。
